Lena & Lennart’s Elegant Beach Wedding in Cádiz, Spain

When Lena and Lennart started planning their destination wedding in Spain, they knew one thing for certain: they wanted to spend more than just a few hours celebrating with their favourite people. Their vision was to create an unforgettable experience, bringing friends and family together for two days under the Andalusian sun.

They chose the beautiful coastal town of Conil de la Frontera, in Cádiz, one of Southern Spain’s most charming seaside destinations. With its golden beaches, relaxed atmosphere and endless ocean views, it was the perfect setting for the elegant yet joyful celebration they had imagined.

The festivities began with a welcome party right on the beach, where guests gathered barefoot by the sea, enjoying the warm evening light, delicious food and the anticipation of the wedding day ahead. It was the perfect start to a destination wedding weekend in South Spain.

The following day could not have been more beautiful. The sky was a deep, vibrant blue, the Atlantic Ocean shimmered in shades of turquoise, the sun shone brightly, and a gentle breeze brought the perfect balance to the warm Andalusian weather.

Lena and Lennart spent the morning together with their closest friends and family in a stunning private villa complete with a swimming pool and panoramic views. The atmosphere was relaxed, intimate and full of excitement. One of the things I loved most about their wedding was how much they prioritised spending time with their loved ones throughout the day.

Their civil ceremony took place overlooking the sea, with the sound of the waves creating the most beautiful soundtrack. It was emotional, heartfelt and completely authentic — the kind of ceremony that perfectly reflects what truly matters.

Afterwards, guests enjoyed an incredible dinner featuring delicious local cuisine while laughter, conversation and celebration filled the air. As the afternoon slowly turned into evening, everyone eagerly awaited one of the most magical moments of the day: sunset.

And Cádiz did not disappoint.

The golden light painted the coastline in warm tones, creating the perfect backdrop for portraits that felt timeless, elegant and effortlessly romantic. These sunset moments are always some of my favourites as a film wedding photographer in South Spain, where natural light and genuine emotions come together beautifully.

As night fell, the party continued exactly as every great wedding should: with dancing, laughter and unforgettable memories on the dance floor.
